Traverse Area Recreation & Transportation Trails (TART Trails) are a network of multi-use trails & cross-town bike routes in the Traverse City area of Michigan.

Trails are open to walkers, cyclists, skaters, runners, folks with strollers and leashed pets; no motorized vehicles are allowed.

The Boardman Lake Trail is a scenic & wooded 3 mile trail that nearly circles Boardman Lake.

On the southern shores of the lake there is trail access at Medalie Park and on the northern end there is access at Hull Park.

This mostly flat & shady trail includes 2 wooden bridges over the Boardman River at both ends of the lake.

There is also a new picnic pavilion & kayak launch on the western shore, near the 14th St access to the Boardman Lake Trail (BLT Park).
